Types of Bathtubs We Stock

Freestanding Bathtubs

Stand-alone tubs with all four sides visible — oval, slipper, rectangular and sculptural shapes. They sit anywhere in the bathroom and work as a design centrepiece. Best where you have floor space around the tub.

Built-In (Drop-In) Bathtubs

The tub sits inside a tiled or panelled surround, with only the rim showing. Space-efficient and often cheaper than freestanding, and the most practical choice for standard Malaysian bathrooms.

Corner Bathtubs

Shaped to fit into a corner, making good use of awkward bathroom layouts. Many corner tubs are also massage tubs, with room to stretch out.

Massage / Jacuzzi Bathtubs

2. Pick the install type. Freestanding for a statement look and flexible placement; built-in for space efficiency and lower cost; corner to use an awkward layout.
3. Choose acrylic. All our tubs are acrylic — lighter than cast iron, warmer to the touch, and easier to clean. A stainless-steel frame adds rigidity.
4. Check faucet and waste. Many of our tubs come complete with waste (c/w waste) and some include a faucet set — confirm what is included so you can order the rest at once.

What are your bathtubs made of?

What size bathtub do I need?

Yes. Big Bath has in-house installation technicians across Peninsular Malaysia. Because a bathtub also needs the waste and (for massage tubs) power connecting, we recommend booking our team to fit it rather than going DIY.
